The Best guitar solo player !!! SLASH !!!

Many people would say Slash could never be as great as some legends, such as Hendrix, Page, Van Halen, but I beg to differ. Look at the quality of his work with Guns and even thereafter. Many of the tunes he wrote with Guns still hold up today and are popular with the younger generation: Sweet Child, Paradise City, and Welcome to the Jungle, November Rain, & more. Then in the 2000's he brings rock back to mainstream for a period with his new band Velvet Revolver with hits: Fall to Pieces, Slither, The Last Fight, & more. Many of these others may have influenced and created many things he uses, but the facts show he has learned how to use them better. He may not necessarily make more complex music all the time, but it doesn't have to be.

I mean most people's argument that Hendrix is better is just because he invented things, that His riffs and solos are beautiful. If there is a throne for rock guitarist, then Jimmy Page should pass his to slash. His playing style and tone influence a lot of young inspiring guitarist. He owes much from Page, Hendrix and other elder player but he create a style that make him equal to stand shoulder to shoulder to his idol. For him it's not about selling millions of records or astounding ticket revenues. It is always about how to make a very distinguish art of rock music. He is not part of the popular world... He is more a legend. He has a very good attitude as well. For him it's not about showing off dexterity... It is about how to make the song beautiful. But again there is not any number one guitarist... We have to share this world with everyone else. For me he is number 1 guitar player and someone who inspired me to pick up the guitar!!

I Love Metallica !

Metallica is an American heavy metal band formed in October 1981. With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, they are the most commercially successful heavy metal act in history. They are also the seventh biggest act in America. After building a following through its role in the development of heavy metal in the 1980s, the band broadened its audience in the early 1990s. Accordingly, the band stood as the most commercially visible example of the metal genre for most of that decade. However, with vastly increased commercial success came stylistic changes that arguably abandoned their classic thrash metal roots and fostered accusations of "selling out" by some long-time fans. Many also feel that Metallica's 1999-2001 stances against Internet file sharing deeply damaged their reputation. In spite of this, the band has continued to be tremendously commercially successful. 

In 2003 Metallica released their 8th studio album, entitled St. Anger, a collection of the most aggressive music they had written in a decade, to deeply divided critical reviews and comparatively mediocre sales figures, though their 2004 "Madly in Anger with the World" tour in support of the album remained very successful. Metallica's next album, Death Magnetic, was released on September 12th, 2008, to some positive feedback. While few would say that Death Magnetic highhandedly brought Metallica back to their thrash metal origins, many would agree that the album combined elements of their newer releases with cues from their classic albums. Unfortunately, the album was marred by poor production; how ironic that their "comeback" album is best appreciated via digitally pirating rips from the better sounding Guitar Hero audio tracks.

INTERSTELLAR!

INTERSTELLAR captures the serenity of space through Christopher Nolan's visionary mind. Calling the visuals breathtaking is an understatement, the score is riveting to hear and the performances are all pitch perfect. But unfortunately, the movie fails to execute it's mind blowing concepts in a way that truly resonates. It's overlong, as needlessly puzzling as it is intellectually stimulating and bogged down by a messy script full of cloying sentimentality. I still highly recommend this movie for the experience alone, but know that it is divisive. People will both love and resent this film in equal measure. I'm somewhere in between.

Nextflix Frenzy

While Stan, Presto and Quickflix have done a good job of giving Australians a Netflix-like experience of late, we've all been waiting for the big one to arrive.

Netflix Australia is finally here and there's one question on everyone's lips: how does it stack up to the US version of the service?

Netflix Australia starts from $8.99 per month for the entry-level, single-stream standard definition package, all the way up to $14.99 for the deluxe, 4K quality, four-stream package.

While not everyone is going to be able to take advantage of 4K streaming quality, either due to the resolution capabilities of their TV set, or the bandwidth quality that's available to them, the package is unquestionably great value.

If you're worried about the kind of stream quality you're going to get from the service, never fear: you can try Netflix out with an obligation-free 30 day trial period.

While we can't really recommend the standard definition package to anyone who can help it, it is a nice option for those with poor quality internet connections.

Mean Girls Vs Mean Girls 2

Mean Girls 2 would have been so much better if it wasn't up against Mean Girls. I mean if it was called something else, it might have maybe been an okay movie. But when you stack it against Mean Girls, and have the expectations so high of course it's not going to be good. It had nothing to do with the original Mean Girls, I was so mad that they would use the Mean Girls title. And especially because half the actors in the movie were from freaking Disney Channel? Like really? I hated it. I honestly wouldn't even watch it again. I can't believe the creators of Mean Girls would let this happen. I'm so utterly disappointed. I mean they didn't even keep the same track as the original. At the end of the original, they were all friends - which showed that no matter what people go through they can still be friends. In the new one, the character portrayed as Regina George goes to JAIL - WHAT EVEN!? It was so unrealistic, I wanted to just walk away.

Mean Girls is one of those movies that you just DON'T re-do. Lindsey Lohan and Rachel McAdams MADE Mean Girls what it was. And to make the "2" full of Disney Channel characters, made it so much worse. The acting was so tacky, and it wasn't even funny! The original was HILARIOUS. People still make jokes with the quotes and mean girls 2 had ZERO quotes. It was just so poorly made. And I love how the person who played Abby was a millionaire, yet she wore T-shirts? The movie was so horrible, don't even watch it.

WHITE CHICKS MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE!!!

This movie is simply funny, it aims to make you laugh and no more. Anyone who dissect the plot and put the acting and screenplay of this film under a microscope is missing the entire point of this movie.

This is a comedy, not a documentary or an historical saga, this is plane humour, dumb with a bit of a slapstick taste... The entire situation is fictional of course and that's what so funny about it. I've read some comment about this movie here and the people who wrote these comment are way off, talking like those big-shot movie critics.

This is a fun movie to watch with a "stupid" yet hilarious story, simple comedy and a lot of what some people call "toilet humour" (which is always funny) - it's nothing more than pure entertainment and it leaves you with a smile on your face which is never a bad thing, right? FOXCATCHER! Great Movie

FOXCATCHER is a flat out masterpiece of a movie. A profound and quietly poetic character portrait that descends deep into the cesspool of American hedonism with subtlety and a biting, unflinching harshness. All at once, this film is a chilling study of mental illness, a moving tale of brotherhood and a Shakespearean tragedy on country, wealth and sport. Steve Carell, Mark Ruffalo and a revelatory Channing Tatum all deliver complex, layered, performances that exercise restraint more than showy, Oscar bait emotion. Ultimately, they help drive home the true message of Foxcatcher, which is that the American dream is after all, only a dream...

All in all, based on actual events, FOXCATCHER is a gripping and profoundly American story of fragile men who pinned their hopes for love and redemption on a desperate obsession for greatness that was to end in tragedy. A must watch!!
